The studio was founded by Elvin, a mastering engineer with over a decade of experience working with sound across music production, composition, and sound design. He trained at Cochlea Mastering in Antwerp and Angström/Mont Analogue Masters in Brussels, where he developed a focus on vinyl mastering and lacquer cutting, before further sharpening his precision as a studio assistant at Rare Sound Studio. Alongside his engineering work, he performs and releases music as HYPNA and co-founded Plasma Sources, an international collective and label.
